Core Competencies and Skills Cisco Wireless Technologies: Deep expertise in Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs), Access Points (APs), and related technologies (e.g., RF management, mobility, security). Wireless Protocols: Proficiency in IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and Wi-Fi Alliance certifications. Network Design & Implementation: Ability to design, plan, and deploy complex wireless networks, including site surveys, RF planning, and AP placement. Troubleshooting & Optimization: Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing wireless network issues, optimizing performance (e.g., RF interference, channel utilization, roaming), and ensuring high availability. Security: Knowledge of wireless security best practices, including WPA/WPA2/WPA3 encryption and secure guest access management. Automation & Orchestration: Experience with network automation tools and orchestration platforms (e.g., Cisco DNA Center) for efficient network operations. Documentation: Ability to create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.Technical Skills & Certifications Cisco Certifications: CCNP Wireless or higher Wireless Certifications: CWNP certifications (e.g., CWAP, CWSP) are advantageous.
