Role : SAP BASIS/HANA ADMINISTRATOR Location: Waukegan, IL - onsite. JOB DESCRIPTION: - In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis administration functionalities across various SAP modules. - Working closely with the database team to manage databases (ex. oracle EXADATA, SAP HANA, Sybase, Max DB etc.) operations and performance. - Backup and recovery procedures for SAP databases. - Managing system upgrades, patches, and support packages, ensuring compliance with SAP release cycles. - Understanding of SAP HANA database administration. - integration solutions using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). - Installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems across the landscape (ECC, BW, CRM, SCM etc.). - Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing performance tuning measures. - Working with AutoSys team for job scheduling and maintenance. - Plan and coordinate quarterly and yearly maintenance. - Managing SAP transports and change control processes to maintain data integrity. - Identifying and resolving SAP system issues, including technical errors, data inconsistencies, and user-related problems. - Collaborating with functional teams to analyze business requirements and troubleshoot issues. - Supporting SAP implementation projects, including system configuration, data migration, and user training. - Experience with SAP Solution Manager and change management processes. - Proficiency in scripting and automation tools for routine tasks (Not Mandatory). -- Keywords: database information technology business works Illinois SAP BASIS/HANA ADMINISTRATOR [email protected] |
