Job Title: Senior Program Manager 

Location: Remote,Need Locals to  Illinois, Wisconsin, or Minnesota

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to oversee the transition and transformation of a global service desk operations and end-user support managed services agreement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex transitions that require significant change management, including frequent executive updates. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving a global service desk transition and transformation.

Whats the Job

Lead and manage the end-to-end transition and transformation of managed global service desk operations, focusing on end user support and field support services, in addition to application support

Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and milestones, to ensure successful project delivery.

Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.

Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

Lead daily and weekly governance and steering committee meetings

Liaison between the current vendor, new vendor and client

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in service desk operations and project management.

Use of the established PMO standards to manage projects

Collaborate with the end user experience team to deliver the highest quality end user experience

Partner with the communications team to create end user change management plan to ensure seamless transition for end users

Whats Needed

15+ years of experience in a lead or senior program role with at least 5 years of global experience.

Proven experience in managing global service desk transitions and transformations, specifically transitioning from current vendors to new vendors.

Experience with global operations and process improvement

Strong knowledge of end user support services, including laptops, telephony, Microsoft 365, and other end user services.

Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

Advanced certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in services methodology, networking, infrastructure, end-user computing, Office 365, operations, and remote workspaces.

Experience in working with global teams and managing projects across multiple regions.
