Job Title: MDM - Business Analyst Location: Chicago, IL Day 1 Onsite Job Type: Contract Must have Pharmaceutical Domain Experience Job Description: A skilled Business Analyst with experience in Master Data Management (MDM) implementation and a good understanding of IDMP (Identification of Medicinal Products) regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical sector . The role involves gathering business requirements, working with stakeholders, and ensuring successful implementation of MDM solutions to comply with IDMP standards. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with business and IT teams to define and document MDM requirements for IDMP compliance. Conduct gap analysis between current MDM capabilities and IDMP regulatory requirements. Draft use cases, process flows, and conceptual data models to support MDM implementation. Ability to articulate and defend MDM solution for IDMP including data quality and data governance Collaborate with regulatory, pharmacovigilance, and supply chain teams to align MDM with IDMP requirements. Act as a bridge between business users, IT teams, and regulatory authorities. Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and stakeholder discussions. Provide guidance to business teams on best practices for IDMP data management. Collaborate with technical teams to integrate MDM solutions with RIMS and other pharma IT systems. Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) 1. Experience & Industry Knowledge: 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in MDM implementation projects. Understanding of IDMP regulatory framework Experience working in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or biotech industries. 2. Technical & Functional Skills: Knowledge of MDM platforms (Informatica MDM, Reltio, SAP MDG, etc.). Familiarity with data governance, data stewardship, and data quality management.
