The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application development, support, and troubleshooting. The developer will be responsible for coding, testing, modifying, and enhancing applications while leveraging Snowflake s cloud data platform. Additionally, they will explore new Snowflake features, including AI/ML capabilities, to support business processes and tenant requirements. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy Snowflake-based solutions to support business applications. Enhance and modify existing applications to improve performance and functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Snowflake implementations. Support Snowflake features and functions implemented by vendor teams for Snowflake build projects. Engineer and support data pipelines required by SN1 tenants, including: JDBC connection setup Key-Pair Authentication OAuth integration Metadata-driven ingestion Provide SN1 platform support, ensuring smooth operation and integration of Snowflake-based applications. Utilize existing and emerging Snowflake technologies to design, develop, and document distributed applications. Explore new Snowflake capabilities, including AI/ML, to help tenants leverage artificial intelligence within their data ecosystems. Work collaboratively with business and technical teams to develop technical solutions that enhance business processes. Maintain and create technical documentation, including system design, development, testing, and deployment processes. Required Qualifications: Strong experience in Snowflake development, including schema design, performance tuning, and security best practices. Proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflake-specific functions, data sharing, and Snowpipe. Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline engineering. Familiarity with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth and Key-Pair Authentication. Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or P). Understanding of AI/ML capabilities within Snowflake is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Python, Java, or Scala for data processing and integration. Knowledge of data modeling and best practices for cloud-based data warehousing. Exposure to metadata-driven ingestion frameworks.
