Job Title : Ab initio Developer Location : Louisville, KY Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Ab Initio Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Ab Initio. The role involves working on large-scale data integration projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality data solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using Ab Initio. Work on data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to integrate data from various sources. Optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability. Develop and maintain metadata-driven frameworks and reusable components. Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and QA teams to ensure data quality and accuracy. Implement error handling, logging, and performance tuning for Ab Initio applications. Work with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Write and optimize SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting. Troubleshoot production issues and provide support as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: 3+ years of experience working as an Ab Initio Developer. Strong expertise in Ab Initio components such as Graphical Development Environment (GDE), Conduct>It, Control Center, Express>It, Continuous Flows, MetaData Hub, and BRE (Business Rules Environment). Hands-on experience with ETL, data integration, and data warehousing concepts. Good understanding of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, etc.). Experience working with UNIX/Linux scripting for automation. Exposure to big data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and cloud platforms is a plus. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
