The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining GIS applications, integrating geospatial data, and working with APIs to enhance mapping functionalities. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to modify and create dynamic web-based GIS applications to update a permitting system for the NC Department of Transportation that is used for issuing permits to oversized/over-weight trucks traveling on NC highways.
