Collaborate and build relationships with business stakeholders and product owners to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Design and architect scalable, secure, and reliable systems and applications. Develop comprehensive solution architectures, including system integrations, data flows, reference architecture frameworks, and application interfaces. Define and describe the testing criteria for technological solutions. Conduct feasibility studies and proof of concepts for proposed solutions. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the company's technology stack. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the implementation phase. Ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and best practices, and collaborate with IT security teams to ensure adherence to security and compliance requirements. Participate in the development of project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget considerations. Conduct regular reviews of existing systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Create and maintain detailed documentation for all solutions, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user guides. Work closely with the enterprise architecture team to ensure that solution architecture aligns with overarching architectural principles, guidelines, and goals. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve solution designs. Mentor team members on solid solution architecture and design practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A masters degree is preferred. Ten or more years of broad-based experience in information technology. Five or more years of experience in a Solutions Architect role or similar position. Prior Solutions Architecture leadership experience preferred. Proven experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions. Strong understanding of cloud computing, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Proficiency in system integration, data integration, and application development. Excellent knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevSecOps practices. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with microservices architecture, application programming interfaces (APIs), and web services. Familiarity with database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
