Job Title: GCP Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Location: Alpharetta, GA (TCS - Atlanta)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to manage, optimize, and ensure the reliability of cloud-based applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in GCP, automation, monitoring, and incident management.Key Responsibilities:
Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Automate infrastructure deployment and monitoring using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Set up observability and monitoring with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Google Cloud Operations Suite.
Manage incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and performance tuning.
Optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve release automation and system stability.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to improve system reliability and minimize downtime.
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with cloud governance policies.Required Skills:
4-6 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
Strong knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
Experience with incident management, monitoring, and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Google Cloud Monitoring).
Proficiency in automation scripting using Python, Bash, or Go.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Desirable Skills:
Experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and container orchestration.
Familiarity with SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs in cloud environments.
Knowledge of AIOps and proactive incident prevention.
