Need local candidate of TX Position: AWS HPC Architect Location: Houston, Texas (Hybrid) (Local) Duration: 6 Months MOI: Video AWS HPC Architect Key Areas: AWS, AWS HPC, oil & gas industry Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective strategies and solutions on the AWS platform Analyze the product technical requirements, Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and configuration management using industry best practices and AWS services, such as AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy, and AWS CloudFormation Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of AWS infrastructure and applications by implementing appropriate monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery measures Expert in overall application technical design conformance with internal and external architectural standards and structures Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and facilitate efficient software delivery processes Develop real-time and asynchronous systems integrations and balance the engineering needs of multiple teams Responsible for analyzing, and defining infrastructure-relevant templates and codified patterns, resiliency/redundancies, deployment methods and validation routines, and configuration drift, management, structures, and configurations Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues promptly, working closely with development and operations teams Conduct regular performance analysis and capacity planning to ensure optimal utilization of AWS resources Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and AWS services, and provide recommendations for process improvements and tooling enhancements Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for knowledge sharing and future reference Requirements: Proven Hands-on experience setting up, operationalizing, and supporting AWS HPC clusters with high-end GPU visualization technologies Senior expertise/knowledge of AWS high-end visualization technologies (NICE DCV) Senior expertise/knowledge of AWS HPC clusters (ParallelCluster RES NICE DCV session manager, MPI, containerized HPC workflows) Experience working in cross-functional teams is a must (compute, storage, security, network, DB, data teams, etc.) Being able to teach and mentor other team members is a must Excellent communication skills Exceptional Team player Several years of proven expertise (5+) supporting G&G subsurface applications (petrel/DSG/paleoscan/geoteric/rokdok) and other open-source applications in the seismic domain Unfeigned Regards, Akhand Singh Adventa Tech Inc.
