Job Title: ETL Developer Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite) Start Date: March 3, 2025 Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Developer with a strong background in SSRS, DataStage, and SQL to join our team in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in development, with a focus on data extraction, transformation, and reporting. Experience in the Investment Banking domain, particularly with Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Money Market instruments, is a plus. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively within an Agile environment. Only candidates currently residing in the Chicago area will be considered. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain SSRS reports and DataStage ETL processes (Designer, Director, Admin, and Code Migration using Server Manager). Experience with reporting tools such as Business Objects or Power BI. Develop and maintain Unix scripts and batch scripts for scheduling tools. Write complex SQL queries to extract data from Oracle and SQL Server databases. Develop stored procedures, functions, and manage DDL and DML operations. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Create test cases and scenarios based on business requirements to support unit testing. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Participate in Agile development methodologies. Contribute to the overall success of the team by sharing knowledge and best practices. Required Skills: 4-5+ years of hands-on experience with SSRS and DataStage (Designer, Director, Admin, and Code Migration). Experience with reporting tools like Business Objects or Power BI. Proficiency in Unix scripting and creating batch scripts for scheduling. Strong Oracle and SQL Server database experience, including writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, DDL, and DML. Experience with CI/CD processes. Ability to create test cases and scenarios for unit testing. Excellent communication skills. Experience working in an Agile environment. Preferred Skills: Experience in the Investment Banking domain, specifically with Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Money Market instruments. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
