Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our Salesforce CRM Deployment team within the Application Division in IS. This role will be responsible for developing secure solutions within our Salesforce org. The successful candidate will be an integrated member of the team, working on approximately 40% Application Support and 60% Feature Project Development. An experienced Salesforce coding skillset is expected to span across Salesforce Sales & Service clouds within the Lightning environment. Salesforce secure practices are a current focus within the team, and an ability to show security knowledge within Salesforce configuration and Apex coding will be given priority. Responsibilities Develop, integrate, and/or support in-house and purchased application solutions to solve business problems. Work with minimal supervision in developing solutions to customer-related requests and/or system problems. Participate in daily stand-ups with the team and monthly staff meetings with the Work Director. Engage in working sessions in Nashville and ad hoc meetings once a month. Ensure compliance with security standards within Salesforce configuration and Apex coding. Typical Day in the Role Core hours are 9-3 central time zone, with required on-call hours on rotation with the team. Busy, fast-paced work environment. Daily interaction with the team through stand-ups and monthly staff meetings. Candidate Requirements Education & Experience Required: 2 or 4-year college or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education. Required: A minimum of 5-7 years of enterprise Salesforce experience. REQUIRED: Include the link for certification Top 3 Skills Ability to work well independently and in team settings. Attention to detail to meet compliance standards. Required: Experience with SOQL, Lightning configuration, and Lightning components and controller development. Required: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified - Platform Developer I, experience with Salesforce flows. Desired: Source code, deployment management skills, additional Salesforce certifications. Required: Ability to communicate and document effectively, self-starter, help drive results among the team, creative and confident, problem solver with a positive attitude. Desired: Desire to gain business acumen.
