As a Network
Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining
network infrastructure, with a focus on Cisco Nexus and Catalyst Switches. You
will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security
of our network by configuring VLANs and managing the movement of devices across
different networks. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless operation of
our network systems, supporting both our internal teams and external clients.

Key
Responsibilities:

Network Design
and Implementation:

Design, implement, and manage network solutions using Cisco
Nexus and Catalyst Switches.

Configure and maintain VLANs to ensure optimal network
segmentation and performance.

Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement network
strategies that align with business objectives.

Network
Maintenance and Support:

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure
high availability and reliability.

Perform regular network maintenance, including software
updates, patches, and upgrades.

Provide technical support and guidance to resolve
network-related issues promptly.

Device
Management and Network Integration:

Move and integrate devices into different or new networks
efficiently and securely.

Ensure proper documentation and inventory of network devices
and configurations.

Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure seamless
integration of new technologies and devices into the existing network.

Security and
Compliance:

Implement and enforce network security policies and
procedures to protect against unauthorized access and vulnerabilities.

Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure
compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Continuous
Improvement:

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in
network engineering.

Recommend and implement improvements to enhance network
performance, scalability, and security.

Participate in training and development opportunities to
enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on
Cisco Nexus and Catalyst Switches.

Strong expertise in VLAN configuration and management.

Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, and
switching.

Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly
desirable.
