From: vishal, sibitalent [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Technical Architect IV (IT Security) Location: Houston, TX (100% Onsite) Duration: 6-Month Contract (Possible Extension) Job Overview: We are seeking a Technical Architect IV with 8+ years of experience in IT Security Architecture & Services for a 100% onsite role in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will possess CISSP or CISM certification, strong technical expertise, and excellent cross-functional communication skills. This role requires both virtual and onsite interviewing, and candidates must complete a hair follicle drug test as part of the onboarding process. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and review IT security architectures in alignment with industry best practices. Research and document best practices to enhance IT Security Reference Architecture. Perform security architecture design reviews, evaluating risks and business value. Work cross-functionally to ensure secure cloud and on-prem solutions. Contribute to merger and acquisition security assessments and integrations. Create architectural diagrams and whitepapers to present security solutions. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in IT Security Architecture & Services. CISSP or CISM certification (mandatory). Experience across multiple technical disciplines, including: Cloud Security Architecture (Azure, AWS, or GCP). API Management, Identity Management, Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), and Directory Services (SSO, SAML). Network Security (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN tunnels, endpoint security). Device Management (MDM) & cloud security practices. Security best practices for operating systems & patch management. Experience with Visio or similar architectural design tools. Knowledge of OT security frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443 for ICS Security). Ability to create security documentation, whitepapers, and risk evaluations. Strong ownership and accountability in delivering security solutions. Preferred Qualifications: IT Security Certifications (TOGAF, CSSLP, SAFe Architect, PCNSE). SASE solutions for least privilege/RBAC access. M&A security experience. Awareness of cloud security governance and compliance best practices.
