This is a fully onsite role in Carlsbad, NM, and requires expertise in network monitoring, RF communications, and industrial networking. Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field 5+ years supporting enterprise networking 5+ years of experience with various wireless technologies (Point-to-Multi-Point, Point-to-Point, Mesh, 802.11 Wi-Fi) 5+ years of hands-on experience with Ethernet switching and routing 5+ years of experience using Cisco IOS Command Line 5+ years troubleshooting networks using the OSI model 3+ years working with SNMP-based monitoring software 3+ years of experience with DNS, DHCP, packet capture software, and IP address subnetting Experience with serial communications (RS232, RS485) Willingness to travel overnight to other Phillips locations Preferred Qualifications: Cisco CCNA Certification or equivalent in Routing & Switching Experience with Aviat, Cambium, ABB Tropos, Motorola UHF Radio Systems Expertise in microwave (licensed/unlicensed), MAS-SCADA, Private LTE, LoRaWAN, IoT, Land Mobile Understanding of FCC and FAA regulations, including CFR47 Parts 90 & 101 Knowledge of RF propagation software and link profiling Strong microwave link design, planning, and troubleshooting experience Familiarity with cellular technologies and emerging trends Experience with DC/AC power solutions (12VDC, 24VDC, 48VDC, 120VAC, 240VAC) Report writing experience for technical documentation Experience with SCADA systems Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across field operations, I&E, contractors, and corporate engineering Passion for learning and implementing next-gen technologies Keywords: New Mexico Wisconsin Enterprise Network Support Engineer, Carlsbad, New Mexico [email protected] |
