Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL. Manage and optimize databases using DB2 and Datacom. Create and manage Job Control Language (JCL) scripts for batch processing. Utilize Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM) for data storage and retrieval. Schedule and automate jobs using Control-M. Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe application issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Skills Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 10+ years of experience in mainframe technologies COBOL, JCL, DB2, SQL, SQL Stored Procedures, Messaging Queues (IBM MQ, Kafka), CICS, Easytrieve, Datacom, SORT utilities. 07+ years in scheduling tools such as Control-M, ChangeMan, FileAid, Startool, TOAD, and SPUFI. Proficiency in COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, Datacom and Control-M. Experience with REXX and BlueZone. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
