Position : Rave Developer Location : REMOTE Duration: Long Term Contract Visa: Only USC/GC Interview: Phone/Skype Job Description: Responsibilities: Maintain & Enhance Systems: Support, refine, and optimize crew scheduling, pairing, and tracking logic, ensuring compliance with business rules. Optimize & Improve: Enhance system efficiency, develop optimization algorithms, and improve crew tracking capabilities. Collaborate & Integrate: Work closely with business teams, databases, and messaging systems (Active MQ, SOAP, GCP, Oracle, Linux). Troubleshoot & Support: Monitor system health, resolve scheduling and tracking issues, and ensure smooth airline operations. Experience: Multiple years of software engineering experience, preferably in the airline sector i.e. crew management, scheduling, or aviation software Experience with Rave, a proprietary programming language owned by Jeppeson/Boeing If no Rave experience, need to have Python, Java, or C++ to be able to pick up Rave quickly after a 4-6 week training period If no Rave experience, need to have rule-based programming, domain-specific languages (DSLs), or optimization algorithms experience Strong JSON and relational database experience Thanks and Regards MD.
