Hybrid in GA || Travel Industry . SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER IN TEST (SDET) with Travel Industry Exp. Location: Atlanta, GA 30354 (Hybrid)local only Visa Allowed: Any Duration:12+Months contract Interview Mode: Virtual Best Pay Rate: $50/hr. Exp. 8years 2 to 3 years of experience in Information Technology, with a focus on test automation (UI and API layers). Hands-on experience in writing and maintaining automated tests for UI and APIs using languages like Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, and testing libraries such as Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured. Proficient in OOP languages (Java, C#) and scripting languages (Python, Perl, , Bash). Experienced in API and Microservices testing and automation. Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD), with frameworks like Cucumber and JBehave. Hands-on experience with SQL (preferred), Oracle, MySQL, and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB). Experience deploying applications in AWS or OpenShift (Kubernetes). Proficient in automating backend REST services using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Karate, Cypress, Ready API. Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch using design patterns like Page Object Model (POM). Familiar with working in distributed agile teams, using agile frameworks like SCRUM, SAFe, XP. Proficient in continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Circle CI and maintaining automation test jobs. Hands-on experience working with source code management tools like GitLab, GitHub, AWS Code Commit. Experience generating test reports from automation test runs (e.g., Cucumber Report, Extent Report). Quick adaptability to new tools and technologies. Strong communication skills to interact with peers, business analysts, and subject matter experts. A proactive nature with customer satisfaction as a key goal. Embraces diversity and prioritizes safety and security. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the Travel Industry. Knowledge of infrastructure automation using tools like Docker, Chef, Puppet, Terraform. Familiarity with AWS cloud services like EC2, S3 bucket, CloudFormation, etc. Experience with service virtualization tools like Wire Mock, Mockito. Familiarity with test management and agile management tools like VersionOne, qTest. Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Docker, Red Hat OpenShift, AWS CloudFormation. Experience with non-functional testing (e.g., performance, load, stress, security, accessibility, usability).
