Job Title: Snowflake Developer Location: Boise, ID Responsibilities: Data Warehousing: Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions using Snowflake. Implement data modeling and schema design best practices. Optimize Snowflake performance for efficient data retrieval and analysis. Data Integration: Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion into Snowflake. Integrate data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and cloud storage. Utilize Snowflake's features like Snowpipe for continuous data ingestion. SQL Development: Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting. Develop stored procedures, functions, and views within Snowflake. Perform query tuning and performance optimization. Data Security: Implement and maintain data security measures within Snowflake. Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls. Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies. Cloud Platform: Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) in conjunction with Snowflake. Manage Snowflake environments and infrastructure. Utilize cloud-based services for data storage and processing. Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing. Qualifications: Required: Proven experience working with the Snowflake Data Cloud. Strong proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts. Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration processes. Understanding of cloud computing principles and platforms. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
