Job Title: Azure Solution Architect Location: Minneapolis,MN (Hybrid Work) Duration: Long Term Key Responsibilities: Databricks Migration: Design and execute end-to-end Databricks migration strategies. Optimize Databricks workloads for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Ensure seamless integration with existing data pipelines, BI tools, and data lakes. Database Migration & Data Architecture: Lead on-premise-to-Azure database migration (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data security in cloud environments. Implement Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and related data services. Big Data & Analytics: Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for data processing and analytics. Work with Azure Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory, and Power BI for analytics solutions. Implement best practices for data partitioning, indexing, and caching strategies. Security & Compliance: Implement Azure Security Center, Key Vault, Identity & Access Management (IAM). Ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, or other relevant standards. Establish role-based access control (RBAC) and data encryption strategies. Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, data engineers, business stakeholders). Provide technical guidance and mentorship to teams.
