This role involves working with different data formats (such as X12, EDIFACT, XML) and integrating EDI solutions with internal systems like ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and supply chain management platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design, Developer and/or Configure X12 HIPAA EDI Maps for enhancements, bug fixes, implementations, testing, performance tuning and ad-hoc reporting. Strong experience mapping X12 HIPAA transactions 835, 834, 270/271. Experience with claims 837I,P,D desired. Configuration and mapping experience in Edifecs and IBM (Sterling, ITX, ITXA) necessary Develop and maintain EDI maps that convert data between different formats (e.g., X12, EDIFACT, XML) for various business documents (invoices, purchase orders, shipping notices, etc.). Use EDI mapping tools (such as Sterling B2B Integrator, Microsoft BizTalk, MuleSoft, or other integration tools) to create and deploy these maps. Ensure that EDI maps comply with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, ANSI X12, UN/EDIFACT). Stay updated with changes in EDI standards and implement necessary adjustments to existing mappings. Document all mapping processes, business rules, and configurations for internal reference. Create user manuals and training materials to assist team members and partners in understanding EDI processes and mapping logic. Technical Skills: Proficiency in EDI mapping tools (e.g., IBM Sterling, BizTalk, MuleSoft, etc.). Strong knowledge of EDI formats (X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS) and communication protocols (AS2, FTP, HTTP/S). Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., XSLT, Java, SQL) for mapping development and troubleshooting.
