COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION IS BELOW FOR YOUR REVIEW: Job title: Python developer with Oracle PL/Sql experience Location: Sunnyvale CA- onsite Hire type: Contract Job description: We are seeking a talented Python Developer with strong experience in Python programming for API Integration and/or ETL logic and a solid understanding of database technologies like Relational, No SQL. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in python programming and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Relational Database technologies, preferably Oracle. Familiarity with ECS, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm is also preferred. This role involves developing high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design. You will collaborate closely with Server Admins, Middleware team, DBA, and other team members in an Agile environment to deploy scalable and efficient solutions through automated deployment tools. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain enterprise-grade solutions (applications/ETL jobs) using Python and oracle database Build reusable code and libraries for future use Collaborate with Middleware team to configure load balanced scalable solution in DEV, UAT, PROD environments Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability Participate in Agile/Iterative development processes, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives Manage and track tasks and project progress using JIRA. Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests Strong technical skills in the python programming language to develop applications/ETL jobs Minimum 10 years of experience in Python programming Minimum 6 years of experience in Database Technologies, preferably Oracle Familiarity with ECS, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm is preferred Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Bitbucket/GIT Excellent problem solving and communication abilities, to be able to solve complex problems that may arise during the development process. Strong communication and teamwork skills Strong organizational skills: Needs to be organized to be able to manage their time effectively and meet deadlines.
