Position: Data Scientist Location: Woonsocket, RI (Onsite) Duration: 6+ Months Contract Job Description: Strong programming skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.). Expertise in NLP libraries (SpaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face Transformers, etc.). Experience in training and fine-tuning LLMs like GPT, BERT, T5, LLaMA, Mistral, etc. Proficiency in TensorFlow and Keras (or PyTorch). Familiarity with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) and embeddings (OpenAI, BGE, Sentence Transformers). Experience with ML Ops tools (MLflow, TensorFlow Serving, Kubernetes, Docker). Strong understanding of attention mechanisms, transformers, and sequence-to-sequence models. Hands-on experience in deploying models to production (cloud-based or on-premise). Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge graphs, and reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a research-oriented mindset.
