Job description: Our Job Title GSOC Intelligence Analyst Location Houston, TX Contract Job - Need someone who can come to the office from day 1. Shift - Rotational (including nights, weekends and holidays) Job Description: The GSOC Intelligence Analyst plays a crucial role in protecting our client's global operations by monitoring and analyzing security threats in real time. This position requires expertise in open-source intelligence (OSINT), physical security, and geopolitical risk analysis to ensure the safety of the organizations personnel, facilities, and reputation. The analyst will work collaboratively across corporate security functions and business units to provide timely and actionable intelligence. Key Responsibilities: Threat Monitoring & Intelligence Analysis: Continuously monitor public and privately sourced information for security threats and incidents that may impact the organization. Incident Response & Communication: Serve as a key information hub during security or safety incidents, ensuring swift response and coordination with relevant teams. Research & Reporting: Conduct advanced qualitative and quantitative research to analyze potential threats and provide intelligence briefings to leadership. Security Systems Support: Assist in monitoring access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems, taking appropriate actions in case of breaches or malfunctions. Knowledge Management: Support the development and maintenance of GSOCs information management tools, ensuring efficiency in intelligence operations. Required Qualifications: Legally authorized to work in the job posting country. Bachelors degree in a relevant field or at least one year of experience in a corporate or government intelligence center. Strong writing and analytical skills, with experience in OSINT monitoring for security threats. Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as overtime when required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, CoPilot). Knowledge of physical security threats and trends in the U.S. Awareness of global geopolitical issues affecting corporate security. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Lenel/OnGuard or similar access control and alarm monitoring systems. Knowledge of the oil and gas industry and its unique security challenges. Experience with traveler tracking systems and executive protection. Proficiency in geospatial analysis and data visualization tools. Intermediate or higher proficiency in a language other than English. Key Skills for Success: Expertise in OSINT monitoring tools and proactive identification of security threats. Understanding of corporate security operations, including travel security, executive protection, and risk assessments.
