About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Data/Business Analyst to support our organization in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements, analyzing data models, and improving existing processes. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to assess current workflows, identify gaps, and recommend solutions for streamlining data management processes, specifically around product catalogs, digital asset management, campaigns, and sales. The ideal candidate should have strong data analysis skills, experience with data modeling, and a solid understanding of business processes. This role will be instrumental in evaluating potential technology solutions, documenting use cases, and assisting with the selection and implementation of new systems. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering & Analysis Work closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements. Map out existing processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements. Facilitate requirement validation sessions to ensure alignment with business goals. Data Management & Analysis Analyze product data, specifications, and catalogs from multiple vendors. Understand the structure and data models of existing product catalogs and repositories. Ensure data integrity and consistency across different platforms. Technical Documentation & Process Mapping Document end-to-end workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and integration. Create detailed use cases, data models, and process diagrams. Collaborate with technical teams to define data structures and storage formats. Technology & System Evaluation Research and assess new platforms for product data management (PDM) and digital asset management (DAM). Compare potential solutions against business needs and provide recommendations. Assist in vendor evaluations and participate in system selection processes. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Work cross-functionally with business users, data engineers, developers, and leadership teams. Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication of requirements. Support project managers by providing insights on project timelines and deliverables. Implementation & Execution Support the development and implementation of new data management solutions. Monitor and validate data migration, transformation, and integration efforts. Ensure smooth adoption of new processes by providing training and documentation. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role. Experience working with product catalogs, digital asset management (DAM), and/or ERP systems. Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools. Experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management. Strong documentation skills, including experience creating business process flows, use cases, and system requirements. Ability to analyze and structure large datasets, ensuring consistency and accuracy. Experience with agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar ERP/CRM platforms. Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms like Azure, Power BI, etc. Knowledge of digital asset management (DAM) and metadata frameworks. Understanding of APIs, data exchange formats (JSON, XML), and system integrations.
