The focus of this contract will be to successfully move the acquired retail stores onto new Retail Merchandising solutions, as defined by Sedanos. The BSA role will align business needs with technological solutions, ensuring they meet organizational objectives. Building relationships and working closely with stakeholders from various departments is critical to analyze, design, and implement Retail Merchandising applications that run the business and support business growth. This role will be part of an expanding Program Management Office to support this multi-year transition and include consultant opportunities as well as consultants who may be interested in permanent positions to further support this growing organization. Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering Work closely with stakeholders and vendors to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements related to grocery retail operations and reporting. Translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring clarity, completeness, and feasibility. Collaborate with IT teams and business owners to design innovative solutions that address business needs while leveraging existing systems and technologies where possible. Solution Design and Systems Integration Facilitate the integration of grocery Retail Merchandising solutions (Item Management, Deal Management, Assortment/Space Planning, Price Management, AD Planning and Forecasting, etc.) to ensure data accuracy and consistency across the organization. Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation workflows. Recommend and implement enhancements to drive operational efficiency, cost savings, and employee satisfaction. Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. Developing test plans, execute testing activities, and participating in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the functionality and performance of the Retail Merchandising solutions. Ensure that solutions meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Develop training materials and deliver training sessions for end-users to facilitate the adoption of new day-to-day Retail Merchandising systems and processes. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues and optimize system usage. Stakeholder Management Testing and Quality Assurance Training and Support Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, business processes, and user processes. Generate reports and analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to store operations and provide insights for decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. Proven experience (minimum of three years) as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role, focusing on grocery Retail Merchandising solutions (Item Management, Deal Management, Assortment/Space Planning, Price Management, AD Planning and Forecasting, etc.). In-depth knowledge of grocery Retail Merchandising principles, methodologies, and best practices. Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data from multiple sources. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships. Proficiency in requirement management tools and software (e.g. JIRA, etc.). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple or changing priorities effectively.
