The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and maintaining Grafana dashboards, integrating data sources, managing user access, and ensuring system reliability. This role requires expertise in observability, monitoring solutions, and experience working with time-series databases, logs, and cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and manage Grafana for monitoring and visualization. Integrate various data sources such as Prometheus, InfluxDB, Elasticsearch, Graphite, Loki, and MySQL into Grafana. Develop, optimize, and maintain Grafana dashboards for real-time monitoring and alerting. Implement user authentication and access control using LDAP, OAuth, and Grafana Teams. Configure and manage alerting mechanisms using Grafana Alerts, Prometheus Alertmanager, or other tools. Monitor the performance and availability of Grafana and ensure high availability. Work with DevOps, SRE, and development teams to enhance observability and logging solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Grafana, dashboards, or data sources. Automate Grafana configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes Helm charts. Upgrade Grafana versions, apply patches, and maintain security compliance. Document best practices, guidelines, and configurations for Grafana administration. Required Skills & Experience: 3+ years of experience in Grafana administration, configuration, and dashboard management. 8+ years of IT Experience Strong understanding of monitoring and observability tools, including Prometheus, Loki, and Elastic Stack. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, InfluxDB, Elasticsearch). Familiarity with Linux environments and scripting languages (Bash, Python). Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience integrating Grafana with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong troubleshooting skills with logs, metrics, and alerts. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Understanding of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) for managing user permissions in Grafana. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment. Preferred Qualifications: Grafana Cloud or Enterprise experience. Experience with distributed tracing tools such as Jaeger or OpenTelemetry. Grafana certification (if available). Knowledge of scripting APIs for automating Grafana dashboard deployment.
