Role : Business Analyst (Capital Markets and Financial Services) Location: Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL / Jersey City, NJ (Onsite) - Only locals Type : Contract Role Description: Business Analyst 10+ years experience as a Business Analyst. 5+ years experience in capital markets Strong communicator who is a self-starter and highly motivated individual Responsibilities The Business Analyst role specializes in acting as the primary interface between Technology and specific business / product areas, identifying, documenting, and analysing business requirements, creating detailed project and process specifications, coordinating with project teams Validate functional specifications by analysing business requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams Lead workflow design and contribute to user experience design, where applicable Collaborate with project team, product management, and stakeholders on all aspects of the project Provide guidance to team members by elaborating the necessary details required through all phases of projects Review input provided to developers and Test Engineers ensuring System Integration and User Acceptance Test scripts properly reflect business and functional requirements Participate in reviews of SIT results and defect reviews; support user acceptance testing as needed Review system documentation to ensure compliance with company-specific best practices and standards Review recommended controls to ensure remediation of perceived risks Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behaviour.
