The Dept. of Early Care & Learning (DECAL) is seeking an experienced Application Solution Architect specializing in Salesforce with expertise in integrating with state-level platforms, particularly the IES Gateway. This contract role focuses on designing and implementing scalable solutions that enable seamless integration between Salesforce and Georgias Integrated Eligibility System (IES) Gateway. The ideal candidate will combine deep Salesforce expertise with strong knowledge of government systems integration, ensuring robust data interoperability for grant management and financial reporting workflows. Work Location & Attendance Requirements: Must be physically located in Georgia On-site: Tuesday to Thursday, per managers discretion Mandatory in-person meetings: o All Hands o Enterprise Applications o On-site meetings o DECAL All Staff Work arrangements subject to managements decision Key Responsibilities: IES Gateway Integration: Design and implement comprehensive integration solutions between Salesforce and IES Gateway, ensuring reliable data synchronization and process automation. Solution Architecture: Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions that effectively leverage IES Gateway capabilities for grant management and financial reporting. System Integration: Create robust integration patterns using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools to establish secure data flows between Salesforce and state systems. Technical Leadership: Guide development teams in implementing integration solutions while ensuring adherence to both Salesforce and state system standards. Compliance & Security: Ensure solutions meet federal and state security requirements, implement proper data protection and audit mechanisms. Business Collaboration: Partner with DECAL stakeholders to gather requirements and translate complex integration needs into technical solutions. Grant Management: Design solutions that leverage IES Gateway for streamlined grant processing, financial reporting, and compliance tracking.
