From: Vishal, Pinnacle Consulting [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hi, Position: SAP API Management/ APIM Developer Location: Austin, TX (Day 1 onsite) Duration: Long Term Job Description, Responsibility for designing, developing, and managing APIs within the SAP API Management Knowledge of integration between various applications like on premise systems as SAP S/4 Hana and Non SAP systems. Expect to work closely with multiple project teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities: API Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement APIs using SAP API Management. Create REST and SOAP APIs to integrate between SAP and non-SAP systems. API Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire API lifecycle, including creation, testing, deployment, debugging Ensure APIs are well-documented and best practices are followed for usability and security. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor API performance and usage metrics, identifying areas for improvement. Implement caching, and other optimization techniques to enhance API performance. Security and Compliance: Implement security measures for APIs, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. Certificate type authentication for APIs Collaboration and Support: Work closely with development, operations, and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues. Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in SAP API Management and SAP Integration Suite. Strong understanding of API design principles and best practices. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, or Python. Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services. Familiarity with security protocols (OAuth, SSL, SAML) and API management tools. Common expectations for all roles The ability to communicate successfully verbally and in writing with customers, end users and team members 8 years of professional SAP consulting experience. SAP implementation project experience and well aware of SLDC. Excellent communication skill and ability to manage expectations, project scope and assess client needs to suggest best possible solutions Ability to create, manage, communicate and meet project timelines and goals Experience of working in Onsite Offshore model SAP certification Preferred.
