Work with business and IT teams to understand business problems and design, implement, and deliver solutions using Agile methodology. Implement solutions on multiple platforms (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD). Essential Skills: Deep understanding of Confluent Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, brokers, and replication mechanisms. Proficiency in programming languages, primarily Java or Scala, with potential for Python. Ability to design robust and scalable Kafka-based data pipelines. Understanding of data serialization formats like JSON, Avro, and Protobuf. Knowledge of Kafka Streams API (optional). Familiarity with tools to monitor Kafka cluster health and troubleshoot issues. Experience deploying and managing Kafka on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Understanding of distributed systems concepts. Knowledge of Kafka security features. Ability to work effectively with other developers, data engineers, and stakeholders.
