Job Title: Data Scientist Location: [Location] Job Description: As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large datasets to solve complex business problems. You will apply statistical, machine learning, and data mining techniques to extract actionable insights and inform data-driven decision-making across various teams in the organization.Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Modeling: Analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights to help solve business problems. Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to predict trends, patterns, and outcomes. Work with structured and unstructured data, including text, images, and time-series data. Feature Engineering & Data Preprocessing: Perform data cleaning, data wrangling, and transformation tasks to prepare raw data for analysis. Design and build features that improve the accuracy and efficiency of models. Machine Learning & AI: Build and deploy machine learning models using various algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, recommendation systems). Fine-tune and optimize model performance using cross-validation, hyperparameter tuning, and other techniques. Stay up-to-date with the latest machine learning advancements and best practices. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., data engineers, business analysts, product teams) to understand business requirements and deliver actionable insights. Present complex technical findings in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with other data scientists and analysts to continuously improve methodologies and solutions. Data Visualization & Reporting: Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop reports and presentations to support data-driven decision-making and influence strategic initiatives. Big Data & Cloud Technologies: Work with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) to handle large-scale data processing. Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for data storage, processing, and modeling.Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar role. Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or SQL. Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch. Solid understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and experimental design. Experience in data wrangling, cleaning, and transforming data from multiple sources. Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn). Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Nice to Have: Experience with deep learning or natural language processing (NLP) models. Familiarity with data engineering concepts, including data pipelines and ETL processes. Knowledge of business intelligence (BI) tools or frameworks.
