This role will be pivotal in building and maintaining our web applications, utilizing Python APIs on the backend, React with Fast on the frontend, and deploying and managing infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of full-stack development principles, a passion for building scalable and efficient applications, and hands-on experience with modern web technologies and cloud platforms. Top Skills AWS Backend: Python Frontend: React Alteryx: Nice to have I. Backend Development (Python API): API Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, Django REST Framework). Database Management: Design and implement database schemas, write efficient database queries, and manage database interactions (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). Data Modeling and Validation: Create and maintain data models, implement data validation logic, and ensure data integrity. Authentication and Authorization: Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth). Performance Optimization: Optimize API performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for improved efficiency. Unit and Integration Testing: Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise API documentation. II. Frontend Development (React with Fast): Component Development: Build reusable and efficient React components using Fast components or similar component libraries. State Management: Implement effective state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Context API, Zustand). API Integration: Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs, ensuring seamless data flow. Responsive Design: Develop responsive and mobile-friendly user interfaces. UI/UX Implementation: Translate UI/UX designs into functional and visually appealing user interfaces. Performance Optimization: Optimize frontend performance, including code splitting, lazy loading, and image optimization. Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure cross-browser compatibility and address any related issues. Testing: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for frontend components. Fast Component Utilization: Implement Fast components, or similar web component libraries, to ensure performance and accessible UI. III. AWS Deployment and Infrastructure: Cloud Infrastructure Management: Deploy and manage applications on AWS using services like EC2, Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, and others. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) to automate infrastructure provisioning and management. CI/CD Pipeline Implementation: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, or similar tools. IV. Collaboration and Communication: Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members. Agile Development: Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise technical documentation. V. General Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer. Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks Extensive experience with React and modern frontend development practices. Experience using web component libraries such as Fast. Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure. Proficiency in database management (SQL and/or NoSQL). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools. Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with Agile development methodologies.
