Job Title: BI Project Manager ( Techno functional) Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid) Job Type: Extendable Contract Local only Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Project Manager to lead BI initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility. This technofunctional role requires a combination of project management expertise, business acumen, and hands-on BI experience to drive successful implementation of data-driven solutions. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and data professionals to deliver actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end BI projects, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, and delivery. Collaborate with business users to understand analytical needs and translate them into BI solutions. Work closely with data engineers, data analysts, and developers to design and implement data models, dashboards, and reports. Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resources. Ensure BI solutions align with business objectives and are scalable, secure, and efficient. Act as a bridge between technical and functional teams, ensuring seamless communication. Drive adoption of BI tools and processes across the organization. Monitor and report project progress, providing clear updates to stakeholders. Maintain documentation of project plans, workflows, and best practices. Stay up-to-date with BI trends, tools, and best practices to enhance business intelligence capabilities. Required Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related fields. 3+ years of project management experience in BI or Data Analytics projects. Strong knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar. Hands-on experience with SQL, data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data and analytics. Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies. Strong understanding of KPIs, business metrics, and reporting frameworks. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
