Job Title: Backend Engineer(Python and Golang) Location: 100% Remote Job Type: Contract Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Python and Golang. Design and implement RESTful and gRPC APIs for seamless communication between services. Optimize database queries and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement software solutions. Ensure system reliability, security, and performance through best coding practices. Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions. Troubleshoot and debug production issues to ensure smooth operation. Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on Python and Golang. Strong knowledge of web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django) and Golang frameworks (e.g., Gin, Echo). Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency in writing efficient, scalable, and maintainable code. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS). Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT). Experience with GraphQL and API gateway solutions. Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
