Roles and Responsibilities: Scrum Master will be responsible for ensuring correct adoption of Agile & Scrum methodology within the team. Scrum Master will guide the team to implement Agile practices aligned with Agile manifesto. Work with the Product Owner to define the product backlog, with enough details for estimation. Work with the team to facilitate effort estimation exercise. Facilitate Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo, Daily Standup and Sprint Retrospection meetings. Coordinate with Product Owners for prioritization and scope change for any requirements. Coordinate with management team to provide the required project/sprint progress updates. A Scrum Master is responsible for handling Agile / Scrum ceremonies and ensure that the team is delivery outcome as per the release and sprint plans Ensure project management tool (e.g. Jira) is updated with all the status updates and reflect correct and current status of the project activities. Work on defining and refining the project processes. Identify and work on removing any impediments for the team. Ensure frequent delivery of value / user stories to the stakeholders as planned. Support in building self-managed and cross-functional team. Facilitate remote-team collaboration. He needs to report the progress as well as the problems to management stakeholders. Technology understanding of Microsoft stack would be preferred 75% time for Scrum Master activities and 25% time for Project Coordination activities Span of control 6 to 9 team members. Skills and Specifications The Scrum Master must have good understanding of the Agile & project management processes He must have good communication skills (written and verbal) and should be able to motivate & support his team He must have effective planning and management skills He must display good leadership skills He should also have good organization, presentation and customer service skills.
