Position: Scala Developer Location: New York, NY 3 days on site a week Duration: 12 Months Look for people who had done web applications development using Angular in the past that may have retooled to be ETL/ Scala data engineers. Expertise technical skills in building robust applications which I highlighted in yellow. Mainly focus on the service side. SDLC and Agile will become the default. It's a standard cycle for development so assume this is not an issue. Experience with web development using Angular is preferred. No need to be an expert. Good communication skills as we will work as a big team and collaborate with different teams. Skills Required: 5 + years of work experience in Scala development. Excellent knowledge of multi-threading and high-volume server-side development. Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Experience with web development using Angular. Practical knowledge of source control and issue management tools, ideally Git and JIRA or Rally Skills Desired: Experience building high volume and resilient systems.
