Role: SAP PPDS Consultant Work location: Tampa, FL. JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Summary. We are seeking an experienced SAP PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of production planning processes, with the ability to implement and optimize SAP PPDS solutions for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that business requirements are met and deliver efficient, high-quality solutions. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Implementation and Configuration: Lead the implementation of SAP PPDS modules, including configuration, testing, and deployment. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP PPDS solutions. Process Optimization: Assess existing production planning processes and identify opportunities for improvement using SAP PPDS functionalities. Design and implement best practices in production planning and scheduling. Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support for SAP PPDS users, troubleshooting issues and optimizing system performance. Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical issues and ensure system integrity. Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on SAP PPDS functionalities. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Production, and IT to ensure alignment of PPDS strategies with overall business objectives. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project progress and milestones. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct testing of new functionalities and system upgrades, ensuring that solutions meet business needs and performance standards. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in resolving any identified issues. ________________________________________ Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an SAP PPDS Consultant or in a similar role. Proven track record of successful SAP PPDS implementations in various industries. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP PPDS , including configuration and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, QM). Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and other advanced planning tools is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
