Submit only local resources Must Have Qualifications: Solid Data Modeling, Strong Collaboration, Visio, SharePoint, Excel, Fixed income knowledge, financial industry background. Technical background is a plus Our Impact: The Investments &Capital Markets (ICM) division supports the liquidity of the mortgage markets and makes funding more available by purchasing mortgage-related securities guaranteed by Freddie Mac and other financial institutions in its investment portfolio. The Business Technology Office (BTO) supports all the technology for this division. (200+ applications) Role & Responsibilities: Inventory and create project-specific technical documentation for data software and hardware solutions in place in ICM BTO Specify required interlocks between ICM BTO applications/systems and ICM or other divisional applications or processes Create project artifacts and recommendations for Architecture & BTO Leads to determine modernization and migration strategies for databases, platforms, APIs etc. Collect and write detailed data transformation process requirements Create and maintain technical, process, and data-related documentation Qualifications: Understanding of data modeling Degree in software engineering, data science, data and systems transformations preferred, with 7-10 years of relevant work experience. Outstanding quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills specifically software and technical documentation Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications Experience working with different databases and understanding of data Strong data and financial analytical skills; Ability to quickly understand complex financial concepts; Mortgage industry experience preferred Key to success in this role Ability to juggle and prioritize large number of activities across various applications Proactive problem solver and has the ability to think holistically and creatively Ability to focus on precision, accuracy, reliability, delivery and schedule Phenomenal teammate with a positive attitude!
