Hello, Job Role Developer(Cloud and Snowflake) Location Minneapolis, MN(Remote) Job Details: Snowflake Development & Optimization: Design and develop data models, schemas, and optimized queries in Snowflake. Implement performance tuning strategies (clustering, caching, partitioning) to enhance query performance. Manage Snowflake roles, access controls, and security policies to ensure data governance. Cloud Data Engineering: Deploy and manage Snowflake on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Integrate Snowflake with cloud storage (S3, ADLS, GCS) and cloud data services. Automate data ingestion, transformation, and processing using cloud-native tools. ETL/ELT & Pipeline Development: Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using tools like dbt, Matillion, Airflow, or Azure Data Factory. Ensure data quality, lineage, and integrity throughout the pipeline. Work with structured, semi-structured (JSON, Parquet, Avro), and unstructured data. Security & Compliance: Implement data encryption, masking, and access control policies in Snowflake. Ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, or industry security standards. Monitor data usage and optimize storage and compute costs. Collaboration & Agile Development: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to define data solutions. Participate in agile development, sprint planning, and technical discussions. Document best practices, architectural decisions, and data governance policies.
