Most projects have a high degree of complexity. In addition, the incumbent will: Perform project planning. Lead project teams. Create and manage project budgets. Manage project scope. Identify project risks and risk mitigation strategies. Lead requirements documentation. Manage relationships and coordinate with interface partners, suppliers and VSP technical staff. Lead business change management, with an emphasis on effective communications, building stakeholder trust and measuring performance. Coordinate changes to network infrastructures in partnership with technical staff. Coordinate the deployment of equipment used by SaaS applications. Prepare reports for VSP and VITA management. Perform other duties as assigned. The person selected for this position will work full-time onsite at Virginia State Police Headquarters, 7700 Midlothian Tpke, North Chesterfield, VA 23235. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, excluding state holidays. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Project manager of record on a Category 1 or 2 Commonwealth project of $5 million or more, or completion of non-COV project with a value greater than $10 million. Experience managing large projects and PMP certification. Proven leadership skills. Advanced computer skills are required that aligns with the Job Description. Strong decision-making and strong analytical skills. Ability to create and manage project schedules. Experience leading organizational change management. Good verbal and written communication skills.
