Mention your consultant visa status also LOOKING FOR SENIOR CANDIDATE AROUN 14 OR 15 YEARS Job title: INFRA Specialist Work Model: Remote Desired Start Date: ASAP Project Duration: 4-6 months (likely to extend) Job Summary: We are seeking a Disaster Recovery (DR) Build Engineer who will work directly with our architecture team and HPE to design and build a DR solution using Zerto. The role involves implementing EFS replication and load-balancing in AWS, designing and building the DR environment, creating comprehensive run books, and performing functional testing. The ideal candidate will have experience with Zerto, AWS, and EFS replication, as well as strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Zerto DR Experience: Minimum of 5 to 9 years Required Skills: Zerto DR AWS and EFS Replication Platform - Linus & Widows Nice to Have Skills: Server Admin/Windows VMware/Hypervisor Admin experience Responsibilities: DR Planning and Design: Assess business needs and identify critical applications to prioritize for DR. Create comprehensive DR plans with recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs). Design replication strategies across different environments (on-premises, cloud, hybrid) using Zerto functionality. Implementation and Configuration: Install and configure Zerto software on virtualized environments. Define replication policies, including scheduling, retention periods, and protection groups. Manage storage and network settings for optimal data replication performance. Testing and Validation: Perform regular test failovers to verify DR readiness and identify potential issues. Monitor replication status and address any errors or inconsistencies. Document test results and update DR plans based on findings. Incident Response and Recovery: Initiate DR procedures in case of a disaster, including failover to a secondary site. Troubleshoot recovery issues and coordinate with IT teams to restore critical systems. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of DR plans, configurations, and test results. Provide regular reports on DR readiness and compliance to stakeholders.
