Job Description The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for providing day-to-day ownership, operational support, maintenance, and administration of the Enterprise Networking environment (LAN\\WAN) including design and architecture of Network solutions. The position is familiar with products, services and business processes and is responsible for ensuring performance and efficiency of the enterprise Network environment. This role provides expert level support and maintenance of the Enterprise Network environment and designs, reviews, analyzes, recommends, and implements enterprise Network technology standards and solutions; including site connectivity, Local and Wide Area Networking and routing, core network infrastructure, internet facing connectivity, load balancing, hosted\\PaaS\\Cloud provider integration, advanced troubleshooting, etc. The Senior Network Engineer develops and evaluates network performance criteria and measurement methods. Prepares the analysis of capacity needs for switching and routing. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks and works under minimal supervision. Qualifications: High level of accuracy and attention to detail Must be a Team Player, possess high energy level, and be a self-starter Excellent communication skills Excellent documentation skills Advanced problem solving skills Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve network related issues Ability to productively work under minimal supervision Education and/or Experience, Requirements: The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starting Information Technology professional with a minimum BS/BA degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in developing, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting infrastructure etwork architectures Advanced knowledge of network operating systems primarily Cisco, Certification preferred (CCNA, CCNP, CCDE, CCIE) Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, VoiP, BGP, EIGRP, communications and routing protocols Cisco Networking Hardware: Routers, Swicthes, Firewalls, (Catalyst, 6509-E, Nexus, etc.) Experience with maintaining detailed network diagrams and technical documentation experience with network analysis and operational monitoring\\alerting tools (wireshark, Solarwinds, etc.) Thanks & Regards Love Kumar Technical Recruiter United Software Group Inc. 6000 Venture Dr, Suite C & D, Dublin, Ohio 43017, USA [email protected] USG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
