From: Manish Kumar, scalable [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: .Net migration and AWS architect Location: Hartford, CT (Onsite) Job Type: Contract Key Responsibilities: Cloud Architecture & Design: Architect and deploy secure, scalable, and robust web applications on the AWS infrastructure using AWS services (e.g., compute, storage, databases, networking). Collaborate with the development team to ensure appropriate translation of architectural solutions into effective and robust implementations. Design and implement architectural solutions to meet business needs and ensure the robustness of the application environment. Service Design & Implementation: Develop, enhance, and maintain established processes and procedures for service design to ensure appropriate and robust service delivery. Identify, analyze, and evaluate alternatives, and provide product recommendations for the platform, software, and network configurations. Guide and mentor development teams on design implementation and AWS deployment best practices. Collaboration with IT & Development Teams: Collaborate with IT development teams to ensure the seamless transition of architectural solutions into effective and efficient implementations. Provide technical guidance to teams, ensuring that the development process aligns with architectural designs and cloud strategies. AWS Deployment & Management: Manage the deployment and operational aspects of AWS infrastructure and services. Use AWS services to enhance application performance, reliability, and security. Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure the continued smooth operation of the deployed application on AWS infrastructure. Technical Analysis & Documentation: Gather low-level information and data from application teams to analyze technical requirements and recommend architecture improvements. Review and analyze technical requirements, creating Low-Level Designs (LLD) and ensuring proper documentation of technical solutions. Create and review code changes, ensuring best practices for application migrations to cloud environments. Mentorship & Guidance: Mentor and guide development teams in application migration to AWS, ensuring they follow the correct architectural patterns and best practices. Provide reviews and recommendations on code-level changes, ensuring alignment with overall architecture.Essential Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 6-8 years of experience in enterprise-level web application architecture and deployment. Strong experience in AWS services (compute, storage, databases, and networking) and related deployment and management tools. Expertise with PostgreSQL and Core .NET Technologies. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in architecting and deploying secure, scalable, and high-performance applications on AWS. Deep understanding of service design, implementation, and AWS best practices. Ability to analyze business requirements, propose solutions, and architect accordingly. Collaboration & Leadership: Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (development, IT operations, business) to achieve business goals. Leadership experience in guiding teams through technical design, application migration to the cloud, and troubleshooting. Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly in cloud-based environments. Experience in analyzing technical requirements and designing solutions that are efficient, scalable, and secure.Desirable Skills: Technical Knowledge: Gain a thorough technical understanding of current systems components and application technologies. Collect data and information from application teams to assess requirements and ensure proper technical design. Documentation & Design: Help create and review Low-Level Design (LLD) documents and interfaces to ensure clear communication across teams. Code Review & Mentorship: Provide guidance to technical teams and assist with code reviews to ensure that best practices are followed.
