The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the team backlog, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration of business processes. This role requires excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities: Define and prioritize a backlog of user stories, ensuring they include clear acceptance criteria. Analyze cross-functional business processes and create integrated user stories using industry-standard techniques. Manage dependencies and adapt to shifting priorities across sprints and Program Increments (PIs). Effectively communicate with stakeholders, tailoring messages to different audiences. Utilize critical thinking to proactively manage stakeholder expectations. Participate in Agile Release Train (ART) and Scrum team ceremonies. Collaborate closely with Product Management, other Product Owners, and the Scrum Master. Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced Product Owners and Product Analysts. Work within an Agile delivery framework to enhance product development efficiency. Required Qualifications: 5-10 years of experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, techniques, and frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban). Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence. Bachelors Degree or equivalent IT delivery training/experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Point of Sale (POS) systems. Knowledge of Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance standards. Strong familiarity with the retail industry. Understanding of DevOps and Security best practices. Additional Notes: This is a contract position with the potential for extension.
