Job Role: IT Engineer V Location: Plano, TX or Reston, VA (Hybrid; Candidates need to provide a declaration) Shifts: Candidates should be open to rotational shifts or a constant night/day shift based on the roster (similar to GOC) Duration: 1+ Year COMPLETE DESCRIPTION: Provide support for complex or specialized application or infrastructure tasks, incidents, changes, and requests. Good communication skills (oral and written). Attention to detail. Deep expertise in Enterprise infrastructure (on-prem and cloud hybrid) AWS Cloud Computing (Certification required) Cloud Architecture, Security Framework, System Operations, Network, Database, and Development/DevOps. Perform analysis, design, and implementation of solutions to issues in the environment. Represent solutions to management for approval. Implement and oversee enterprise-level IT systems and services. Lead critical incident response efforts and root cause analysis. Lead critical application releases and implementations. Interface and maintain partnerships with vendors and service providers. Represent the team in discussions with business, development, and management. Act as a subject matter expert for services/applications/infrastructure. Create dashboards, automation scripts, and tools to increase observability and reduce manual work. MUST-HAVE TOP SKILLS: ITIL Certification is required. Proficiency in Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook). 10+ years of experience in cloud operations and engineering, along with development/scripting or cloud architecture experience.
