Title: Business Analyst 5 Location: Lansing, MI Job Description: The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering and documenting clear, unambiguous, and testable business requirements from the client. They are also responsible for thoroughly understanding the business requirements to communicate business needs and system functionality to technical and non-technical stakeholders, project team members, and the user community. The Business Analyst is responsible for working with the project team and stakeholders to examine existing and future-state business processes, data, and systems. This information is used to guide the gathering of business requirements as they relate to the desired system functionality. Required Skills: 5 years experience with As-Is and To-Be process flows or equivalent business/IT process flows. 5 years experience collecting and documenting requirements, preferably a combination of Waterfall and Agile methodology. 3 to 5 years experience writing detailed Epics, Features, and User Stories. 3 to 5 years experience with Microsoft Office, including Visio (for process flow creation). 3 to 5 years experience using Azure DevOps or similar Agile tools. Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC). Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to facilitate meetings and workshops. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
