Lead Network Engineer(12 Years) Location: St. Paul, MN Visa Accepted: USC & GC Duration: 12+ months Mode of Interview: Video Job Type : Hybrid (50% Remote, Onsite as Needed) Job Summary: The ideal candidate will have expertise in SD-WAN technologies, network security, and routing protocols, with strong leadership skills for overseeing network deployment and maintenance. Detailed JD: Responsibilities: Network Design and Architecture: Develop comprehensive network architecture plans leveraging Palo Alto SD-WAN technology. Incorporate Juniper routers and switches to meet business needs and ensure connectivity. Conduct site surveys, capacity planning, and network segmentation to enhance network performance and security. Design and implement secure network connectivity between data centers, branch offices, and cloud environments using SD-WAN capabilities. Implementation and Deployment: Lead the installation, configuration, and deployment of Palo Alto SD-WAN gateways and Juniper networking devices across multiple sites. Configure network security policies, including firewall rules, VPNs, and access controls on Palo Alto devices. Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity management on Juniper routers and switches. Operations and Maintenance: Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address issues using network monitoring tools. Manage network changes, updates, and upgrades to Palo Alto SD-WAN and Juniper devices while minimizing disruption. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of SD-WAN technologies, particularly Palo Alto Networks SD-WAN solutions. Extensive experience configuring and managing Juniper routers and switches. Proficiency in network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems. Knowledge of network routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and network segmentation techniques. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot network issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
