Skills/Abilities Experience in negotiations, managing the P/L of projects, strategy development/implementation, risk management, and contract management a must Experience in managing large cross functional projects or leading a team on undersea or construction projects. Experience matrix-managing a team is useful. Understanding of contract language Demonstrated ability to solve problems within own position, across organizations, and with customers Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required International and domestic travel to support customer meetings as needed BA/BS degree in an Engineering, Business, or technical discipline; and up to 5 years related work experience Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while meeting contractual and organizational commitments Excellent communication, verbal, presentation and written skills Ability to work well in matrix-style teams with persons from different organizations, job types and cultural backgrounds Strong leadership qualities and the ability to complete assignments with little supervisory oversite Excellent communication and coaching skills at all levels from the shop floor to top management, including the ability to speak, read and write fluently in English.
