This role ensures the reliability, availability, and performance of IMS databases and transaction management systems while providing technical support and expertise to application and infrastructure teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Install, upgrade, and maintain IMS software and related components on IBM z/OS mainframes. - Configure and optimize IMS systems for high availability and performance. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply fixes or patches as needed. - Provide support for IMS database (DB) and IMS Transaction Manager (TM) environments. - Work with application development teams to ensure IMS systems meet business needs.
